SHOP POLICIES:

Product Notes: All pieces are made with care by hand - expect variation in size/shape as an inherent feature of their making. Color and finish may vary slightly from what is pictured.

Shipping/Delivery: All domestic orders ship via Fedex Ground. Tracking numbers are provided on all packages. If expedited shipment is required please email info@karentinney.com (additional fees apply).

Karen Gayle Tinney, LLC is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If you would like to request a signature at delivery select the "signature required" option at checkout, additional fees apply.

International Orders: International shipping is available - please email info@karentinney.com for a rates and delivery times.

Returns/Damages: Due to the handmade/made-to-order nature of the product, returns are not accepted. Should your item arrive broken, please email info@karentinney.com with images of the item for a refund or exchange. All damages must be reported within 7 days of receipt.

Sample/Seconds Sales: Any items purchased through a sample or seconds sale are final sale and may not be returned. Defects in the product will be disclosed in the product images or listing description.

Wholesale Customers: Please email info@karentinney.com for information on becoming a stockist.

CARE:

Handling: ALWAYS lift vessels and other pieces with woven edges by the ceramic parts ONLY to prevent distortion of the woven parts.

Fringe: If fringe becomes tangled or needs straightening, use a wide toothed comb to gently comb the fibers. You may use a clothing steamer to straighten the fibers on vases or wall sculptures.

Cleaning: Dust or wipe with a dry cloth or use a lint roller on woven areas. Regular dusting will prevent dust from accumulating on the fiber surfaces. Spot clean when necessary - but take care not to disrupt the weave of the fibers.

USE:

Vessels: One of a Kind vessels are intended to be sculptural, decorative pieces. A glass or plastic liner must be used when using vessels to hold water.

Standard Collection Vases: May be used to hold water, but care should be taken not to damage fiber areas.

Karen Gayle Tinney, LLC is not liable for damages associated with misuse of products.

MADE TO ORDER AND CUSTOM ORDERS:

Inquiries on custom one of a kind pieces, or customization of existing designs are always welcome. Custom designs are subject to a lead time and pricing may differ from what is listed on the website. Please email info@karentinney.com with all requests.

LEAD TIME

  •  All custom orders are subject to a lead time depending on the scope of the project and current availability. An estimated ship window will be provided when the order is placed.

  • If there will be any delay in the ship date of your commissioned work, you will be notified in advance

    DESIGN

  • Glaze and color swatches are available upon request.

  • Drawings will be provided depending on the scope of your project. Any designs provided during this process are property of Karen Gayle Tinney LLC.

  • As each item is handmade, the final piece may differ slightly from the drawing provided. Proportions may be adjusted during production in order to deliver the best looking piece. We work within a tolerance of 1-3” depending on the scale of the design and the type of piece commissioned.

  • Finished designs remain the property of Karen Gayle Tinney, LLC and we reserve the right to reproduce the design unless exclusivity is agreed upon in advance.

    APPROVAL

  • Images of the completed piece will be provided prior to shipment for final client approval.

  • Any changes requested at this stage may be subject to additional charges in the form of an hourly rate if they exceed the limits and expectations of the initial design.

    RETURNS/DAMAGES

  • Returns are not accepted on custom orders.

  • Any damage that occurs during shipping must be reported within 7 days of the shipment being received.
